Culture: The Target Way

November 2, 2007

Target has teamed up with the Brooklyn Museum to present: Target First Saturdays. Every first Saturday of the month museum goers can take advantage of free arts and entertainment for men, women, and children. I suggest heading over early because most programs require tickets and the ticket lines are usually long.

Art lovers can take in an array of programs including dance performances, live music, artist discussions, and films. Grab a bite to eat or a beer from the museums cafe (not free).

On November 3, get your Hand Jive and Bop on to fifties rock ‘n roll tunes at a dance party featuring DJ Paolo and band King Memphis.

Extra perks: Target-brand freebies. Last month, they handed out Peppermint-scented chapstick on a neat, red lanyard. $4 Parking.

Head over to the Brooklyn Museum and enjoy good art–for FREE!
